SK Graduation and Lessons Learned

This morning Levi graduated from Senior Kindergarden! I had to chuckle when all the kids marched in to grandiose music almost like what you'd expect at some formal affair. The kids were introduced as "scholars" and I saw a couple of moms shedding tears (one of which I'm married to)! While the fanfare might have been a little dramatic, I was reminded of the need to celebrate milestones in our children's lives, to encourage accomplishments, and enjoy them while they are young. He and his 8 classmates quoted a total of 26 verses that they had memorized which was quite impressive for 5-6 years olds! Levi received his diploma along with a "determination award" and "attendance award" - and I could tell he was pleased. So was I.
