Southwood Goes Multi-Site

A couple of weeks ago I reported to the congregation that our launch of the Slavic Language Campus this fall has been confirmed! This is an exciting time in the life of our church as God has opened the door for us to reach Serbian, Croatian and Slovak-speaking people in our county, in addition to the South Windsor community. I am ceaselessly amazed at the way God orchestrates events to build his Kingdom and bring glory to Himself.

The official launch date for the Southwood Community Church Slavic Language Campus is scheduled for Sunday, September 28th. Our Slavic Language congregation will hold Sunday Gatherings at 5265 Howard Avenue and our South Windsor congregation will continue to meet at Maranatha Christian Academy on Sundays. Our staff and midweek ministry initiatives will operate out of 5265 Howard Avenue, located about 450 metres down the road from our 5030 Howard property.

Southwood is a multi-site church that embraces one common doctrine, mission, vision, and leadership. That they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I believe this move will position us to more effectively reach the people God loves in a way that not only reflects good stewardship of our resources but testifies to unity within the Body of Christ!

Please support this new initiative through your prayers and encouraging words.
